Accessibility statement
Our commitment
We build websites that people can use regardless of how they browse — with a screen reader, by keyboard alone, at high zoom, with motion turned down, or with any other assistive technology. We hold our own site to the same standard we sell.
This site aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 level AA. Conformance is something we maintain rather than something we finished, so this page is reviewed alongside the site itself.
What we've done on this site
- Text and background colors that clear AA contrast, checked pair by pair
- A skip link, one H1 per page, and headings in a logical order
- Every interactive element reachable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline
- Targets large enough to hit comfortably on a touch screen
- Decorative illustrations hidden from screen readers; meaningful images described
- Body text at 16px and up, and layouts that reflow at 200% zoom
- Motion kept subtle, and switched off entirely when your system asks for reduced motion
How we test
We test while we build, not afterwards: automated checks for the mechanical failures, then manual passes with a keyboard and a screen reader, at 200% zoom, and with reduced motion enabled. We re-test the site on the same quarterly schedule we offer clients.
Known limitations
We'd rather name the gaps than claim there aren't any.
- Fonts load from a third-party provider. If that request fails, the page falls back to system fonts — readable, but not the intended design.
- The display typeface is decorative by nature. We keep it to headings and never use it for body copy or small text.
